Absolutely awful fish & chips. Felt like we'd been served up last scraps so could close shop. Still got charged full price for very poor fare. Not first time but thought we'd give it another go - live local but will go further afield in future for better quality at similar price!!!!!!

Chips were as old as the sea opposite the shop, most were dark brown and very over cooked and not to mention over priced £1.40 for a can of pop and they forgot to put the gravy in aswellAvoid and fined somewhere decent

Quite expensive but great tasting. Very dark chips and fish so oil could do with a change. Haddock is massive .

We normally call in and get fish and chips here when we are in Cullercoats. But this last visit was not up to the normal standard. The chips were pale. And the batter on the haddock was not cooked all the way through . The staff were both very young. So may still be learning the trade

Possibly the worst chips I’ve had in my life and I’ve had some truly awful experiences. What makes it worse and there are some fantastic chippys along the road in Tynemouth. Next time I’ll check reviews on TripAdvisor ?

Waited ages in queue for old disgusting chips! Threw them on the lawn when we got home and even the seagulls wouldn't eat them! Will never return and do not recommend.

I wish we had read the reviews before going here. The chips were burnt, old and terrible tasting. Very very disappointing. I would recommend going anywhere else!

Had a tray of chips for £3 served by a miserable assistant who just grunted. Worst chips I've ever seen, lukewarm, scraps with black spots on potatoes and only fit for the flock of starlings hanging around outside.

Been going to this fish n chips shop for a long time Always used to be a queue - Now we were the only ones there on a busy weekend lunch time. Fish was nice to be fair- fresh and a touch of batter Gawd were the chips dire - beyond dire
