Been going to this fish n chips shop for a long time Always used to be a queue - Now we were the only ones there on a busy weekend lunch time. Fish was nice to be fair- fresh and a touch of batter Gawd were the chips dire - beyond dire
The sausages were fine, the chips were awful, tasted like soil, the gravy lacked flavour, the haggis only tasted like grease and couldn't be eaten, the curry was sweet but the cheese savoury was absolutely delicious and I'd recommend it to anyone who visitsWheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible due to steps to get up into the shop

We normally call in and get fish and chips here when we are in Cullercoats. But this last visit was not up to the normal standard. The chips were pale. And the batter on the haddock was not cooked all the way through . The staff were both very young. So may still be learning the trade
