I was in room 208 & just checked out after a three night stay!Exceptional value for money, especially with the daily £24.99 meal deal giving you two courses & a drink plus unlimited breakfast the following morning! All of the staff that I met were incredibly friendly, helpful & professional! Simply couldn't fault my stay & would definitely recommend here for a stay if you need to be in the area!Rooms: Clean, tidy, very comfortableFood & drinks: Altho there is no inhouse restaurant, the Brewers Fayre is 2 min walk & is exceptional value, with delicious food!

Location excellent for ferry. Staff friendly, bed huge and comfortable, room clean, shower excellent.BUT couldn't sleep because room far too hot. We didn't have the heating on, we had the window open as far as possible (which wasn't far) and it was October in the north of England. I'm at a loss as to why it wad so incredibly hot.

Very accessible from all direction. Nice king size bed, worth the extra. No aircon so careful when hot weather. Cheap and cheerful with a restaurant next door.

On arrival we had a no fuss check-in with friendly staff. Our room was clean and quiet, as expected. Our breakfast was okay but nothing to write home about. We had our evening meal elsewhere but had a nightcap at the bar later. Service was friendly and prompt. Look forward to our next visit.

Perfect location for us as we drove to the hotel, then caught the tube and train to Carlisle to cycle back via route 72, very friendly

Ideal for what we needed. Very comfy bed, would recommend eating at the Lock, 10 minute walk away. The room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again. The staff are really friendly.

Staff friendly and helpful. Our bed hadn’t been made properly - the sheet had been put on the wrong way and didn’t cover the end of the mattress. Staff were apologetic and embarrassed when it was mentioned to them. They also don’t have correct fitting sheets for the extra bed in our family room as they cannot be tucked in, so they just fold a sheet in half and place it down the centre of the mattress, on top of the mattress protector. I found this a bit strange. Rooms were clean and served the purpose.Food & drinks: Meals available at adjoining Brewers Fayre

Good location for Port of Tyne cruises as so close by the Port. Easy to find with sat nav directions to. Plenty on site parking, and friendly check in staff. Just be aware if you check in before 3pm there is a £10 extra charge. Check out 12pm. You can request extra tea or coffee which are available on the desk by the door. No plug points next to bed but other sockets available near the desk. This Premier Inn still not been upgraded eg carpets, curtains. It's in a quiet location and perfect for shopping, cruising, enjoying wet and wild facilitiesRooms: Can do with update curtains and carpets and extra bed side plug pointsNearby activities: Shopping at Royal Quays Retail outlet, wet and wild park

I like this place because it is out the way which means nice and quiet (my favorite ☺️) bedrooms have always been above standard and the breakfast in the morning is so tasty. I look forward to waking up every morning because of the breakfast here.Rooms: Rooms well maintained. Always clean and tidy.Food & drinks: There is a restaurant right next to the hotel which does very nice food at a reasonable price.

We stayed at this hotel the night before the GNR - No heating controls in the room and it was 28° throughout the night with a table fan alone to try and cool down. A boy racer (organised) meeting was right outside the hotel which everyone local knows happens all the time!!! Staff not bothered!!
Great stopover. Staff welcoming. Room clean.
