This is not you usual Greggs Bakery. It is your discount Greggs store selling unsold stock from Greggs shops. You get two pasties in a pack. They also often have pies, sausage rolls and vegan rolls. They also do reduced price sandwiches and sweet treats, bread and buns. They have a coffee machine too. The caramel shortbread offcuts are great at 60p a bag. Staff friendly. How can you possibly go wrong with an even cheaper version of Gregg's. Spent around 3 quid and came out with a full bag of food. I'd never even heard of the place before I went here.

Very busy Greggs in the heart of South Shields, always clean and service is lovely , bacon butty is very nice but not too keen on the coffee. Open early so Great to pop into before work. Seating available
