Just had the best Sunday I have ever had I had beef which was absolutely beautiful with all the trimmings mash roasties veg cauliflower cheese and massive Yorkshire pudding my husband went for the mince and dumplings which he said was beautiful Lovely little warm friendly pub we will definitely be back

Had lunch today with my dad, he had steak and ale pie,”PROPER”chips and fresh veg. I had mince and dumplings with mash and fresh veg. What can I say, but wow it was delicious, really tasty, we both cleared our plates, which is very unusual for me. It has just been taken over and has been nicely redecorated. Lovely warm welcome and super quick service. Needless to say we’ll be back ! ????

The place is beautiful , the staff were fantastic and the food was AMAZING. We had the best Sunday lunch I've ever had at a restaurant. Pork was done to perfection and the beef was falling apart, melt in your mouth.

We were visiting South Shields and asked about for recommendations. We were told Harbour Lights had reopened and was told the food was very good. We weren’t disappointed- It was AMAZING ? so delicious. My husband had the fish & said it’s the best he’s ever tasted. The pub has such a lovely feel to it, Staff were so friendly & attentive. Restaurant high quality meal in a pub style setting. Everything so immaculate & well presented. We will definitely be returning ?????

Had to try the harbour lights after the reopening and seeing the menus. Breakfast was superb. Great ingredients beautifully cooked in great surroundings. Prices are excellent as was the service. Support your local pubs, especially when they’re producing stuff as good as this! What a pleasure.
The Harbour Lights is a fantastic place for food and drinks. The staff are amazing well worth a visit. It is great for breakfast, lunch or evening meal all served with a smile fabulous.
