First-time visitors for hubby's birthday. From the first step in to leaving, this was a grwat experience. We were greeted with a warm welcome from the lovely staff. Food was absolutely delicious. Went for lunch at this very quaint little pub. Arriving you could look from Car park over into Tyne. If like myself you enjoy river views then I'm sure this would be an experience while visiting this pub. Entering definitely different Alice in wonderland theme complete with bright wallpaper. Choosing where you sit plenty to choose where. Fro. Comfy snug to window views overlooking Tyne . Our orders were taken after being seated ( which best to book). Arrived piping hot . We went for a mid-week lunch my wife had the steak I had fish and are daughter had a pizza the food was really nice the service was perfect price was good really nice clean pleasant place great views will be back
