This was one of the most fantastic Indian meals I've ever had. Very friendly service aswell and very tastefully refurbished ex-pub. A bit different to most curry houses. Fish Kerala was amazing. Highly recommended.

Delivery service is absolutely shocking. Food is usually good but their deliveries ruin the experience. 3 times weve tried their delivery service and 3 times they lied about where the food was. Took several phone calls and they are always over an hour late. Got a refund this last time as their delivery driver lied about being here when he wasnt and 10 minutes later, still hadnt arrived. Food will be sent back whenever/if it arrives. Going to pizza rush where the service is slow but in comparison to you? Its lightening fast and at least they are reliable and dont lie to their customers. Will never spend any money with you again and will never recommend you again either. So disappointed. You should be ashamed.

A hidden gem of a restaurant so to speak. In a town that boasts many curry restaurants in one area, this probably would go unnoticed especially to a tourists.As a local on the other hand word of mouth being what it is it is well known in this small town.Very light fresh atmosphere and the staff are attentive and fun characters.The food was refreshing and very tasty. An enjoyable experience all round.Don't hesitate to try this place

Yet again gave this place a chance and yet again they let us down . Curry late cold and all over the bag ! curry was replaced but by this piont it had spiolt our night after numerous issues . 2/10 for me
The very best Indian restaurant in South Shields. first time here with the wife. Loved everything about the place, beautiful building, great interior, amazing staff and food to die for. I'm a vegetarian and the menu is amazing for all. We will be back here in a few days!Vegetarian options: options were amazing.

My sons and daughter in law came to your restaurant tonight at 6pm. They told me the food was good but your service was terrible. Not only did they have to wait over 30 minutes after asking for the bill, and after asking again for a card machine, they ended up having to go to the bar to pay! They observed how your staff treated older clientelle in a more friendly way to your younger clientele. I find this shocking my sons are 28 and extremely polite..so shame on your staff. Had I been there and you ignored me after 30 minutes after asking for the bill I would have walked out! Maybe you don't care but my family will certainly never set foot in your restaurant again and will not recommend it to friends. So here's a tip for you treat all your clientelle with the same respect!

Regular customers here usually good foodbut the most recent outing was bad, had tandori chicken that smelt and tasted sour/off, this was confirmed by another 3 family members who all agreed with me so it wasn't just a solo opinionNot what you want when you are paying top dollar for what is meant to be top food.Not Smelly bad tasting chicken...They also brought out the wrong mains for two other family members, which is no problem as was quickly resolved but then we heard shouting in the kitchen for a few minutes which I guess was the chef and whoever arguing over the mistake. Not good.Boss accused waiter of making mistakes at our table even though it was the kitchens fault as the waiter stood his ground and replied to the boss "I'm not the chef am i" which we found pretty Unprofessional from the boss to perform such act at our tableAlthough I did not address this in the restaurant as I'm not a fan of awkward situations , we paid our bill and left however I must address it someway.

We came last night for a meal.The staff were very rude. We were seated within minutes, but the almost 15 minutes went by before I eventually had to as to get drinks. Waited a further10 minutes and no drinks. The staff were very abrupt and rude. We decided just to leave. They then tried to give us our drinks and wanted us to pay for them on the way out, which we didnt. I understand if your busy which you were not. But all that needed was to be told there would be a wait and we would have been satisfied. No communication from any staff is just not good enough.

I write this review saddened as we loved this place for dining out for a curry or indian grill etc. The 4 of us went for our usual family meal, firstly, we were first table in, any restaurant that make a mistake with first order rings alarm bells.Myself and son had grills, I had tandoori chicken and he had mixed grill, the ladies both ordered lamb shaslik. The ladies were both served tikka chicken shaslik, shocking for your first table, sent it back.We noticed the portion of chips we got was tiny compared to usual and the naan bread was same size as the tiny bowl it ws served in, my son said the tandoori chicken in his mixed grill smelled and tasted funny. I had almost finished my tandoori chicken, with dips and sauces etc I never realissd it tasted sour on its own, and the bones smelled off, great.We could hear some shouting in kitchen, and tensions between staff seemed off, the waiter blamed for making mistakes defended himself as he's not the chef.We asked for bill as we wanted out by this time, things like no olives in the salad which was the norm before last night, no hot wet wipe, no mint or choc with bill, the bar staff none existant and very noticeable too.Overall a bad meal (smelly sour chicken man) for top dollar, (whats happened to this place) sad to say we'll look for a new venue in future.I get we're in a bad time, with cost of living and gas prices through the roof etc, but this was our experience and after a bad tummy this morning I have to leave this review sadly.
