I went to Babaji, after good reviews from the Sunderland Echo and also their Sister curry house on Ocean Road South Shields. I ordered a pickle tray with two poppadoms. Also a lamb karahi Asian style hot with garlic and coriander naan. The lamb costs an extra £1.50. Firstly the sauces for the pickle tray. Came early in a Friday night, lovely, clean, well presented restaurant. Staff were very friendly also. We didn’t order off the set menu, however a great choice if you were on a budget.Food arrived quickly and hot. We ordered lots of little plates and 1 curry. Was fantastic! My husband is a chef and is very picky but he was very impressed! Would 100% return
