“Came on the night of Beyonce at the stadium of light, was very busy but we booked so got our table quickly. The staff seemed extremely overwhelmed, way too many tables for the level of staff they had. Luckily, for us, we didn't wait very long for our food. The poor lad who looked after us was a bit frantic and didn't fill me with much confidence that he'd put our order through correctly. Unsurprisingly, he forgot the dirty fries on my flatbread upgrade and he put through the BBQ chicken burger instead of the BBQ chicken pizza. However, everything was delicious and everyone we encountered were friendly and handled what was a difficult shift for them, including the young lad that took our order, he was lovely, he just needs more training/experience. Will definitely return, had a great time and the prices are extremely reasonable.”

“Walked from Seaburn and got hungry. Stumbled across this gem. Had an interesting discussion on what scraps/batter/crackling/bits called. Very tasty well cooked fish bites (good sized pieces) and chips. Washed down with great ales at nearby Blues Micropub where you can take in your takeaway.”

“We visited just for just a couple of drinks however we read the menu and both decided on the lemon chicken. And we were pleased to say it was wonderful we don’t usually eat here as it’s usually bland but this was an exception would definitely recommend this dish. “The staff here are amazing, nothing is a problem, they are always so polite and friendly and extremely helpful, the manager/owner always asks me if I can manage the door or asks if I need help carrying my takeaway boxes or bags. There's been times I've asked to change the items on a special menu before and it was done without a moments thought. Kebabs, grill menu, salads & sides are my favourite items on Milans menu & you would be hard pushed to find better quality or tastier in Sunderland. They have some great value meal deals fantastic value for money. Delivery if iam not collecting is always quick and driver is always as friendly & polite as restaurant staff. My only cons on Milan are the garlic dip is a little small (only saying this cos its delish and I devour it) & the pizzas I find are OK but nowhere near the same standard as the rest of menu but that's personal taste as I find the pizzas a little too greasy and crust a little too thick. All in all one of my top places to order from,keep it up guys & thank you for always giving me fantastic above and beyond customer service :-)”
