First time sins new owners I have been in, just popped in for few pints and was very welcoming and was a lovely pint.

nice place in main street Hexham. the bros and I enjoyed a drink and food here .Parking: Lots of parking in the main shopping area all free just need to optain a ticket which gives you two hours.

I went there for my Christmas night out. I was over the Moon it was Friday, and it was buzzing with lots of people and a karaoke. we had a great time and will definitely be going there again.

Best pint of Guinness in washy and the best pub in the village
Tried here after disappointment with Washington Arms.The drinks are much better but the clientele are the dregs of Washington. Some of the older ones should be institutionalised

Second time I've been in since the latest takeover by a regular of 20 odd year. Said owner basically stuck on his laptop at the bar ( maybe I'm wrong ) if I'm right as he was telling the bar staff what to do a simple hello would go a long way. To get to the bar to play pool we had to walk through the lounge disturbing the music as the bar door was not open. If your a real ale fan don't bother its average Guinness or john Smith's. Gutted as when I read in the Echo a local of 20 year was taking over I thought it would make all the difference. In a positive note if you want a private function it should be spot on with the new partition.

Canny night out well worth a look on Steve the dj/karaoke guy really knows he's stuff mixture of music and Patrick the landlord is really friendly highly recommended

Went to try out the food yesterday, just after mid day, not one person in the place, no staff either, walked right through the two bars and straight back out again

Reopened 7/8 weeks ago, not many people going in 6-12 on a Friday night isn't very good, staff lovely and friendly pity the manager isn't and has an attitude.Prices are more than pubs around the area
