“Booked my Dad’s 70th birthday meal (upon recommendation and good reviews). I’m not from the area but I heard about the old fashioned ambience and music and my Dad’s family is local to the area. Arrived on a quiet Tuesday night with plenty of parking. Outside looks a bit bland but the inside more than made up. Great old fashioned decor and well maintained. The owners are very friendly and you can tell they treat it with great care. We ate in the restaurant area and the food was of good quantity and very reasonably priced. My family thoroughly enjoyed the evening and I had a pleasant chat with the owners. Would come back again.”

“Went for a carvery for my birthday and although they were busy and I hadn't booked they still found me a table.I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and even managed to fit in a desert.The staff were extremely busy but found time to make sure their customers were happy with their meals.
