Market Arcade, Duke St, AberdareAs someone who had frequented Thailand many times, this really hit the spot. Pad kra pow was delicious with a lovely spice kick. As was the beef waterfall laab salad.
Pro tip, ask for crispy eggs. Super friendly service too. It does get full here quickly as there are only a few tables

Billa's Italian Restaurant and Bar
53-54 Cardiff St, AberdareWe visited an Italian restaurant in Wales today and overall had a really lovely experience. The staff were warm and welcoming, the place itself was spotless, and the atmosphere felt really inviting. Portion sizes were generous and we barely had to wait for our food, which was a nice surprise.
The only downsides were the peppercorn sauce, which tasted more like gravy with pepper added, and the chicken, which was a little rubbery. Nothing major, but noticeable.
For four meals and four drinks, the total came to £90, good value for what we had
All in all, a positive visit and we’d consider going back, especially for the great service and portion sizes. (Forgot to take a picture of one of the meals but the mushroom ravioli was amazing)

I got to say it was amazing, the best Indian food I have ever had. I had the chicken captain pathila, My husband had the chicken tikka korma both had loads of flavour. Portions sizes are big.

27 Canon St, AberdarePopped up to Aberdare from Neath. What a lovely town. Wanted a sandwich and a drink.
Called into Peopers. Last came here in 2021 for a breakfast. Same decor and restaurant feel but was made welcome at arrival.
I was pleasantly surprised you could have a baguette with roast dinner meats with a pot of gravy. So l ordered the chicken and stuffing.
Not long a wait it arrived. A crispy baguette and a ramekin of gravy. All looked ok until l dipped it in the gravy. Honestly it was gorgeous. Rich, dark, not too thin and clearly homemade with meat stock. I was in heaven.
I also have roast dinner envy as I didn't k ow they did them (should learn to read the whole menu) when I saw one on the table next to me. Next time!
Over all, nice venue, lovely staff, good food and gravy worth making the journey a regular

Servini's Cafe Restaurant
2 Cardiff St, Aberdareit was a really nice meal and reasonably priced. i went for the builders breakfast and it filled me up. great service from the staff who were very friendly. they also do takeaway boxes for salad and other items. i will go back.

36 Bronallt Terrace, Aberdarelooking at some of the reviews and i think you guys are not realising this is now only a kebab shop with new ownersthis kebab shop no longer serves indian or chip shop etc.the shop is probably the only kebab shop around at the moment cutting their meat fresh .... instead of precutting and storing in a useless jar for hours drying out all the juice .the fresh meat gives you a meal full of flavour.never upset me so far and my no1 kebab shop at the moment .reasonably priced . personally i would pay more due to quality of food .

77 High St, Hirwaun, AberdareI always enjoy going to the shop, the staff are some of the friendliest people in Hirwaun and it's well worth the trip up the road. I definitely recommend the pizza's here because there's nothing like it nearby (and I've really checked that over the last 6 weeks they've been shut). They offer a great variety and it's all very nice food
Parking: There's a great car park right behind the shop which usually has plenty of spaces available

Only thing i would change is the portion size of lamb donner.Pitta wasn't packed separately as requested but meat wasn't as greasy as other places so wasn't an issue to complain about when realised.

Tirfounder Fields Brewers Fayre
Riverside Retail Park, Tir Founder Flds, Aberdare11 of us came for Christmas dinner this year, the food was exceptional. The starters and deserts delivered promptly, no delays where people were waiting while others were eating, didn’t feel rushed to give up the table and the whole experience was brilliant. Would 100% recommend and will be there again next year. Merry Christmas to the staff as they all interacted happily and must have been hard for them working Christmas Day while everyone was enjoying time with their families. Thanks again
