We drove from Portsmouth to have a birthday with our dad and it was dirty, under staffed and took half an hour just to get a drink and the food was just embarrassing for the prices they charge, also half of the kids menu wasn't even available.... Absolute

Tirfounders field is great if you have kids who need to be entertained due to the on-site soft play. The food is varied with breakfast being a winner. As for the standard menu it has varied on each visit.

Myself and partner had food on Sunday and it was an actual let down.We both had a pie each and they were both hard... The mash potatoes looked and felt like they were reheated a few times as well as the peas!We also had nachos with extra toppings including chilli con carne which was all lukewarm.Absolute waste of moneyExtremely disappointed

I don't know why I go back there, but every time the food is cold, the chicken I had was a dry, thin piece of yuk. I'm definitely not going back again.

Went there for breakfast after staying overnight in the adjacent Premier Inn. They've changed to buffet breakfast at weekends and don't feel it worked too well. There were the usual food options but we must have gone in at the wrong time. Some items had almost run out and the food was luke warm. Not impressed.

Recently went for breakfast the staff were lovely and the food decent except the sausages that could be made by Kellogg's there's that much cereal in them. They are advertised as premium sausages? They really are not.
Went for a carvery for my birthday and although they were busy and I hadn't booked they still found me a table.I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and even managed to fit in a desert. The staff were extremely busy but found time to make sure their customers were happy with their meals. Yes I would go again.

The food was over cooked to the point that it was crispy the steak was over cooked I asked for medium rare . and the portions are appalling at the price charged plus dirty grease on plate the menu was empty everything unavailable the service was OK but the 1 lady really needs to smile and with 4 sitting down for meals they should all eat together not separate times of food arriving was a regular but not anymore

We come today for breakfast and was greeted by the lovely David. His happy friendly attitude rubs off. Unbeknown to David I've been having a really rough week and was treated to breakfast by my sister to cheer me up. David made the experience a 100% better. Thank you you have the best customer service I've seen in a very long time. I would come just for your customer service but food was top notch too. He's a credit to you.Vegetarian options: I'm a veggie and was more than enough for me and my choices. All cooked amazing
