Had lunch here and was bitterly disappointed. Was given a table in the middle of the room despite it being empty. Throughout our meal approximately 50 people were walked through the restaurant past our table which distracting and ruined the atmosphere. Food was average.

Lovely quiet pub/restaurant tucked away in Nantyderry, free parking, nice beer garden and a few pods! Nice atmosphere, kid friendly, didn’t have food but looked lovely, plenty of choices of drinks, friendly staff, will come again!Noteworthy details: Busy place, so I would book a table in advance!

For me, this is a drinking establishment, later evening, and find the patrons/locals rather enjoyable to be around, and a laugh is generally had by all. When eating, it's been acceptable quality and the service is always very good. A lot of the locals quite enjoy as well. Definitely recommend a visit.Walkability: Its a country based establishment in perhaps one of the most beautiful areas in Monmouthshire. Great for walkers.

We visited to celebrate a family birthday.Good choice on menu which we were asked to pre order, dishes were good value for money.Rustic setting, ex hunting lodge in a rural location.Staff were attentive and quick to serve drinks at bar.Closes at 10pm.Definitely worth a visit.

Lovely Sunday lunch. We had Turkey which was delicious and moist not fatty nor any stringy bits. Large Yorkshire pud and a nice selection of veg with extra gravy, nice roasties and parsnips. The service was very welcoming from the moment we stepped through the door. The Pinot Grigio wine was perfectly chilled my husband had a pint of Butty Bach, which he said was good!Never been here before but we will back again for Sunday lunch. Very reasonably priced too. Definitely a good find ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
