With the same friend, I have eaten dinner at the Light of Asia, every August Bank Holiday (except for 2020) for years and years. We visit Aberystwyth once a year and in the evening head straight for the restaurant. This year, the meals we had were the best ever - tasty, hot, attractive and quickly served by very pleasant staff. We hadn’t got a booking and they managed to get us a table for 2. Because they were so busy we had to wait an hour for our food which I was getting very impatient with but the food and service are lovely.

I have been to this restaurant 4 times in the last 2yrs and I live 110 miles away. I drive up to sample this amazing food. I have nor eaten at a Indian restaurant where the food is so tasty, full of vibrance fantastically cooked and in so much abundance. The staff are always pleasant and it is a quick service. I will revisit again in the Summer. Looking forward to beautiful food. 5 stars
