Went to order a Chinese from here when staying about 10 minutes away. Some of the reviews were quite negative but thought we would give it a try. We both thoroughly enjoyed the food - the quality of it was great. Lovely duck, absolutely delicious salt & pepper chips and satay sauce! Also generous portions - you got about 9 chicken balls in the bag and lots of prawn toast. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about as we really enjoyed it, and we aren't that easily pleased!...read full review

We have tried loads of Chinese takeaways on the island and this is by far the best, the shop itself is a throw back to the 70s a bit scruffy but the food is gorgeous, it's the nicest chicken fried rice and crispy chilli beef and the chicken balls in batter are really crispy everything we have had has been gorgeous :)

I just came to lucky house today and their food is delicious! The sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style is probably the best chicken I ever had and the salt and chicken tastes brilliant! I have never tasted something this great in such a long time and the boss treated me with respect. I will come back here next time with my friends and family.
