We called in at the Mermaid Fish Bar on our way to our holiday destination. We were pleasantly surprised at the reasonable prices but amazed at the size of the fish, they were huge! It was all freshly cooked and delicious. Highly recommended.
Having been here a couple of years ago pre Covid finally able to visit friends again she suggested chippie tea, straight away we said do you still go to the same one we used last time we were down. YES so off we went Fish supper, Faggots meal OMG delicious ? had to go back for a second visit before heading north to home.

Easy review- great fresh cod and chips Would go back . Lots of chips and large portions of fish. Limited parking but no problem parking over the road . They also offers a book ahead service to save waiting. All good
