Whilst the Cafe is good with great food and prices - today I wish to recommned the launderette - Staff there are just brilliant - always smiling regardless of the weather etc - just so nice to see a smiling face take our dirty laundry and return it beautifully clean, smelling lovely and ironed - what a treat and then a lovely breakfast and brew in the cafe - perfect start to the day, week, year - thanks so much for such a brilliant service at a good price - Linda & Mark

Bad attitude and bad service

Met with family for a bite to eat. We hadn't seen each other in a while. We ordered 4 breakfasts at lunch time. The eggs come to us and they were runny and snotty looking. The service was appalling. A younger person with an older woman was working that day and I me tioned to her about the eggs and the looked at the plates and said look they are cooked to me! I said no they are not and she turned to me red faced and frothing almost at her mouth and repeated they look cooked to me! I've never felt so embarrassed. In front of my guests who had come to see me! I won't be going in anymore. My family were absolutely outraged at this outburst. I would rather go to plas yn dre for my coffee and light lunch when the family come to visit again. Regardless of the cost.

Just had the best jacket potato ever, .. A bold statement I know, but I had coronation chicken and it was amazing, home made and believe me it shows. Highly recommended.

For context more good than average , nice spot - ate outside , good selection of sandwiches for lunch. All preferences catered for. Good coffee and a central spot which seems popular. Two fresh and tasty sandwiches eaten in the sunshine , all round a good experience.

The coffee and cake were good. However, I ordered my hot chocolate without cream and marshmallows. When it came with them (and I'd unknowingly paid almost £5 for the privilege), I went up to the counter and politely asked for it to be changed. I was shocked at the grumpy reception. They brought me a new one, but did not refund me for the difference, even when I mentioned it. Couldn't help but feel disappointed and it really ruined the experience.

I do not share some reviewers oppinions. We found the Hoffi Coffi a lovely friendly establishment. We had various coffees and service and quality was excellent. We did not have breakfast or any food on this occassion but we will return in the near future after watching delicious looking breakfasts being served. Many thanks, this is a Bala favourite of mine now.

Delicious large breakfast served with a smile! Best place to start a long day in the National Park.

The service here is impeccable. I asked for a Lemon and Ginger tea, and although they did not have any in stock, and I would have changed my order, one of the staff offered me one of their personal ones. Such commitment to customer service is amazing. Thanks.

This cafe is the heart of the community in bala. Immaculately clean, fantastic staff and the food is quality local produce beautifully cooked. I have read a previous review and all I can say to the heinous pack of lies is you must be walking around with a tin of tuna strapped to your nose mate! I have used this cafe for many years and have never walked away unsatisfied. People who have lives so sad that they feel the need to write fake reviews on small businesses are the worst kind of people.

Me and my friend John Harrison went here for breakfast and coffi and came out with chlamydia the smell was vile i could not describe it. I could taste the tuna in the air and i found nail clipping in my food as well as the coffi tasted like fish.
