We visit Wales regularly and without fail we always visit Cocoa Bala! They have a great selection of chocolate, sweets, ice creams and fudge etc. The chocolate hedgehogs are my favourite!!

I visited the Cocoa shop for the first time and loved it! Was keen to try Bala's own Gwynedd Confectionary chocolates of which they stock plenty including seasonal ones, gifts and novelty animal ones (I tried a sheepdog, tiger and crab and they were delicious!). Cocoa also sell luxury chocolates too like truffles if you want something a bit more special. Me and my family absolutely love this shop! After a camping trip in Bala, we always take the kids here on the way home. They love the animal chocolates and pizza box chocolates. It's also a great shop to buy gifts from and I treat myself now and again to the lovely chocolate boxes. I cannot fault this place and the lady on the counter is always so lovely and friendly. I'd highly recommend.
