Food is decent, little expensive but if you order on the weekend prepare to wait over hour and a half for your food. I think they grow it before they cook it, it takes that long

If there was a zero star to rate this place it would still be to generous star. Awful food frozen chips. Beef very questionable can honestly say worse we've ever had

Me and my bankrupt friend Ben came just over 6 months ago, he was recently diagnosed with cancer at the time and was bald due to his chemotherapy. Amazingly after eating at this establishment, Ben’s cancer went into remission and all his hair grew back!

I especially enjoyed the way the tasty bits stuck to the lid. Makes for handy eating, with or without the complimentary fork.
Any friend of Bald is a friend of mine, and the word around Rhymney is that Billie (The Golden Lion) gives out free forks! Their special fried rice will have you racing around town in your Fiesta, especially with those pork slices that stick to the lid! Shame about the three star hygiene rating, better luck next time Billie!
