We have been coming to this chippy for the last seven years and have always had lovely food. Unfortunately this year we have found a dip in the standard of food, chips are like scraps, not tasty at all, mini fish is ridiculously small even for a child. Curry pots have a huge dent in the bottom so not the portion you think you are getting. We had cod, chips, and curry sauce, it was amazing, cod was generous in size,fresh, tasty and batter light and crispy, chips were great, no scraps, and spicy curry sauce was delicious. Service was friendly, and our order was dealt with promptly. There was plenty of room to sit out on a hot summer day. Was recommended this cafe by a local.....! disappointed with our meal, fish and chips shouldn't be hard to dish up when repeatedly made..... fish was ok, batter was greasy and a bit soggy, far too many chips, half the amount would be suffice, better if they were properly cooked. Wouldn't call again......
