We visited Bistro8 to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. It was our first visit to the restaurant and as first impressions go, we couldn’t fault it. Maddie and Eleri looked after us from start to finish and even decorated our table for us on arrival. It was completely unexpected but a lovely touch to mark our decade anniversary. This was a great find on a recent break to South Wales. The young staff were amazing, excellent service without being invasive. The food was delicious and a good choice of wines. The only reason for deducting a star, was that a couple of dishes weren't available but we only found out from another diner on the next table.

What a pleasant surprise. Had heard mixed reviews about this place so I went 2 Sundays In a row to check this place out.Sunday lunch and desert. Easily the best Sunday lunch in the area, yes the food is fantastic but also nice big tables, big plates, sharp knifes (some I've been do it's about as sharp as a butter knife). Lovely staff and reasonable price as well.Parking is very easy and already booking for next week.Well.done B8
