Great service, Great staff, Great food and Great location. Food was delicious and service was exceptional. Even my dog was thrilled. AJ's is a little hidden gem in the centre of town. I would highly recommend you visit. Support our local community.

Not the most welcoming of places to eat and whilst the food was tasty, both mine and my son's lunch had strips of paper in the brie!Raised it with a member of staff and they refunded it, but was disappointing to have found it in the sandwiches in the first place.

This is our third visit to Aj’s recently for breakfast and brunch, which offers a wide variety of dishes on their menu.Food is delicious and served by friendly staff.Good to know that they are also dog friendly too, so we’ll take our pooch with us next time we come.Diolch! As always the food is great - the staff are friendly and the service is impeccable. Great place for lunch or a quick coffee and cake -- much better than the chains....

Lovely little place to escape out of the rain! Wonderful food - veggie burrito and special Welsh Cawl with bread and cheese were a highlight. Quick service and comfy surroundings.

Ordered Cajun Chicken Burger, not what I would call a burger? Half a breast of chicken, not sure why the called it Cajun though and so much mayo I had to scrape it off. Staff looked quite miserable (it was Sunday) food arrived at different times and we had to ask for cutlery. I ordered a latte which was extremely milky and warm not hot I had to ask for extra coffee shot. Bill came to £25…won’t be eating there again.

Lovely American style pancakes, maple syrup and bacon.

If you're looking to sample something different than the usual café fare, then you should try this place. There is more seating out of sight, so don't be put off by the size of the café.AJ's offers much more than what the name advertises, including a range of breakfast & lunch delights, so you'll be spoilt for choice. We called in during the afternoon, looking for some tasty treats for my daughter's birthday. Choosing between crepes or waffles though, was not an easy decision to make as everything on the menu sounded so lush. There were 4 of us & 3 opted for waffles. Although they were all delicious, my only bug bare was, at nearly £6 a waffle, I found them a tad expensive. I like to get my money's worth & didn't feel that this time I had.I do recommend you try for yourself though, maybe you'll think differently. ?‍♀️Kid-friendliness: Childs menu.
