If you're looking to sample something different than the usual café fare, then you should try this place. There is more seating out of sight, so don't be put off by the size of the café.AJ's offers much more than what the name advertises, including a range of breakfast & lunch delights, so you'll be spoilt for choice.We called in during the afternoon, looking for some tasty treats for my daughter's birthday. Great menu choices, very tasty bagels, toasties, served with lots of sides. Amazing freak shake topped with a donut and rainbow candy. Amazing crisp waffles with fresh banana and loads of Nutella. Fabulous. Comfortable space and friendly staff.

We popped into AJ’s on a trip into Brecon and were definitely pleased with our visit.We were a group of 5, but still got our food and drinks really speedy. Lovely, friendly staff served us and we had a nice chat with them. Really nice atmosphere.The coffee was excellent! Everyone in our group enjoyed their food. Would definitely return when I’m back in the area to try out other bits on the menu
