“Amazing food, the beef strips were so good. and the portions were generous. Our dog was welcomed and made such a fuss of by staff and all the other customers. Was spoit for choice by the number of gins on offer and hubby enjoyed the beer he chose.”

“We have enjoyed two fabulous meals at the Three Horse Shoes, Friday night and Sunday lunch, both were delicious and can thoroughly recommend this fabulous pub tucked away in Groesffordd. Only remembered photos of Sunday before we cleared our plates. Dog friendly ”

“Food was fantastic. My wife had gammon, chips, mushrooms, peas, onion rings and an egg and it was a really good portion. I had the bridge burger with one of the biggest beef patty I think I've ever had. Brie bites for starter were amazing. Lovely friendly staff and a lovely seat next to a roaring fire. We'll worth a visit.”

“A lovely pub with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Met the owner, who was really chatty and made us feel welcome. Food was really tasty, and they had a good variety of ciders. Would definitely recommend!”

“I have been here a number of times now. Part of the church/café is dog friendly. The staff are always friendly and polite. Nice coffee but sometimes not hot enough. The salmon bagel is delicious.”

“We stayed for 2 nights dinner bed and breakfast. We also took our Cocker Spaniel with us and he was made to feel very welcome in our room and the restaurant. The room was very comfy and even had covers on the seat for our dog, it was very warm but we were staying on the hottest weekend of the year. It was a great base for exploring and walking in the Brecon Beacons. The highlight however was the food, it was some of the best food we have ever tasted and the side dishes fri the kitchen garden were wonderful, my wife is still talking about the tomato salad we shared with our Hake and Louise’s Cauliflower based vegetarian main. The other evening we had the steak and the cod loin again perfect. The beer and wine were also really good and a great selection. We will definitely be back.”

“Had Sunday lunch here recently. Can honestly say this was the best Sunday lunch I have had in a pub or restaurant. Loads of food. Great value for money. There were 8 of us at the table. Nothing was to much trouble 10 out of 10 all round.”
