We arrived on a busy Sunday lunchtime to a warm welcome from the friendly landlord for a two night stay with our dog.We had a lovely meal on arrival and the beer was great. The steak and ale pie was fantastic.We were very comfortable in our room and the breakfast was really good too. All in all, a very pleasurable stayNearby activities: Handy field behind pub to walk dog with access for longer walks.
Had a great evening with friends in the backroom for a friends party. The menu had plenty to choose from. Though humble sounding the burger and chips I had myself was lovely. The staff were all friendly and well humoured to put up with us so well!
..a group of us went for a meal and were very well liked after. The food was delicious and all nice and hot. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will certainly go again. Even the dog was made welcome! Thank you Harp Inn. Happy New Year.
