Food was amazing and wait time was perfect. Staff are polite and friendly. This is how a restaurant should be run.Kid-friendliness: Provided clean high chair for my 1 year old and were very understanding of the mess on the floor from him.

We had an excellent meal here with friends just before xmas. Haven't been for years having moved away but was a real treat. Looking forward to returning in near future.

First time ordering here but won't be the last. Our order was ready within 30 mins which was surprising for a Saturday evening. The food was lovely and the portions generous. Curries were spicy and flavoursome without being drowned in oil. The onion bhajis were some of the nicest we have had. We got chips for the one kid in our family that doesn't like spicy food and got to say, best chips from a curry place we have tried. It worked out quite expensive for a family of 4 but everything is expensive right now so can't complain. A firm favourite from all of us. We will definitely order again next time we fancy a curry.

Me an a work mate decided to walk down to Ashoka Tandoori when staying at the best Western as the food prices in the hotel were ridiculous and poor quality and it was the best decision we ever made. Food was excellent, 5 star and the staff were lovely. Very welcoming and friendly with top service. Highly recommended to anyone in the area. Good prices aswell. Well worth the money.

Fine Indian dining. Quality fresh ingredients married with the chef's skills and knowledge to create delicious authentic dishes. You must try the chef's specials and the dall and bindi are the best you're going to taste in this area.Bring your own alcohol and experience a tasty treat.

The naga curry is excellent. I have never had a bad meal from here.

The best Onion Bhajis in Bridgend. Solid UK-style Indian. Service is always friendly. I was also pleasantly surprised that it was fairly busy on a Wednesday evening, which meant there was actually a bit of a buzz in there.Note: Currently don't sell alcohol but offer a BYOB policy.

We are so lucky to have this Indian as our local, for both eat in and take out. Knocks socks of any other Indian restaurant and you always find yourself comparing anywhere else to Ashoka and the other place never matches up!

The guys in the Ashoka are so nice and helpful. I turned up there Saturday night, admittedly drunk, but they let me order their fabulous Shashliks, and they sorted out a taxi for me. Not only is their food wonderful, but they look after people as well, I really appreciate what they did for me. They are a wonderful asset to Bridgend.

I ordered a veg curry but it only had potatoes and a few mushrooms in it, the curry sauce was very weak, lacking in authentic flavour. I also ordered the lentil dish which was very lack lustre also, very disappointing food.
