Been a regular customer for years. Brilliant staff and the food is some of the best. Their chips are A1, you wont get better than theirs (real chips, not frozen). Highly recommended.
If like me you like your fish cooked so that the fish is delicately cooked but the batter is thin and crisp this is the place to go I hate seeing raw batter on the inside, munchies is one of the very few places I have ever been to that actually cook the fish perfectly, it’s a real treat for me to go there. Add to that the fact that the staff are really nice and friendly for me the place deserves 10/10. And I am a really fussy burger so it is without doubt great!

Fantastic little place for fish and chips. I tried it last week for the first time and I must admit it's on par with Church Street Fish Bar in Abertillery, expect here it was cheaper.The fish was really fresh and the batter was just right: crunchy and not too thick. The chips were great too. The curry sauce was really good too (right amount of curry flavour and too thick or runny). One small complaint I have with the curry sauce is that it was too salty for my liking.
