The only reason I knocked a star off is that it's not dog friendly. This might be a plus for some.Used this place quite a bit before we had a dog.Lovely place for a coffee and a cake. Nice to be able to peruse the book's whilst here.

Went to Caffi Isa for a funeral reception. Venue is lovely and friendly. Cafe is set in the library and it was nice to be surrounded by bookshelves full of books. Choice of seating either cafe chairs or comfy settees. Tea, coffee and hot choc all very delicious. The salt and pepper chips are very good. The cafe supplied the buffet of sandwiches, salad, crisps and other finger food which was fresh and tasty. Will definitely return on a less formal day.

Love this cafe, its got some nice comfy sofas in there, a little library and a lovely vibe. The staff are all sooo friendly as well. They have little pop us shop stalls now and again (usually mentioned on their Facebook page) and then Ian the Baker has hos little stall a few days a week with fresh bread and sausage / vegan rolls which are on par with Chatwins!!! Maybe even better tbb.As a Mum, this is my local go to place to meet a friend for a coffee.

Awesome (not-so)-little venue. Cafe is really smart and has a slight Friend's Central Perk vibe (although no Gunther yet). You can browse the book titles / book spines galore from your seat !Great cookies and coffee, nice place to sit and hang out and some interesting events hosted there too. Little gem in the middle of the village
