Came upon this place purely by accident. We were travelling back from Moel Fammau and took a wrong turn. The host/barman/server/convivial owner was both pleasant and a whizz around the pub. The food was both cheap and delicious. This is a family run pub, albeit part of a group chain, but the gentleman behind the bar was an absolute delight. Nothing seemed to be a problem for him (and his attentive wife) and our food was served promptly and in a good, hot condition. It's great...read full review

Fab night again at the Queens head. Service is excellent and always on it. No waiting at the bar even though it was so busy. Glasses cleared from tables quickly. Toilets are always clean and smell nice and the live music is outstanding. Well done guys you hosted a great night ?
