Popped in with a friend for a coffee and, unfortunately, the seating area and viewing window was fenced off with a clothes rail. My friend checked it was closed with the lady behind the counter who then turned to her friend in the back of the serving area and made a disparaging remark about English tourists in Welsh. My friend has a strong London accent. When I ordered our drinks in Welsh and confirmed that I had heard what she said and understood it her face hit the floor. The coffees were standard machine fayre and we sat outside on the bench below the viewing window in the closed off seating area so nothing lost except except for the server's " loss of face"

Fantastic prices, a burger for £4. Very nice service. Surprisingly cozy, given the simple layout of the place.

The ladies who run this cafe are absolutely lovely. I visit about 2-3 times each year and they always remember us. Always accommodating and always remember what we like to eat. Situated in the car park at a popular location for Snowdon, this is now my preferred place to eat breakfast when I'm there. Good stock of drinks and the food is great. Highly recommended. Only down side is that it's weekends-only.❤️

Supposedly open Looked closed, chair on tables. Sunny day, lots of tired and hungry walkers. No food to be seen. Menu basic. Now that many people walking up Yr Wyddfa come to Pen y Pass by bus, and need to wait for the next one, there is so much potential here. I’m sorry that visitors have such a poor welcome. Croeso i Cymru?

Lovely staff; very friendly. The hot chocolate and cake was very welcome after our trek up Snowdon. Toilets were clean and open for use too.

Perfect for a snack and a coffee after a long hike

I bought two sandwiches from here, which were both generously filled and reasonably priced considering the location. Friendly and efficient service. Card accepted. Would recommend.

Stopped in here after a long hike up Miners Track on a rainy day. Cute room overlooking the mountains and lots of books to tuck into. Spent 30 pounds on food, drink, and merchandise. At the end of my visit, one of the staff members came over and reprimanded me for taking a few bites of a granola bar. No outside food? Fair enough. But after I'd just spent 30 pounds at the cafe when most people would drop 3 quid on a coffee, seemed pretty galling and deliberately petty. Won't be back.

Lovely cakes and helpful staff. Tables near the window are the best so you can look up towards Snowdon or down the valley. Great selection of food and drink. If you’re not sure just ask as the staff are lovely.

Went with an international coach group and everything was bad and i dont understand seeing as its a primely located cafe. Toilets were disgusting and inadequate, and they closed them early resulting in a massive queue outside the one disabled toilet. Food was bad, the chips were soggy, undercooked and oily - how do you mess up chips? Coffee was pretty bad, tasted like cheap instant coffee, and they could only make regular coffee cause the milk frother wasnt working. Even the tea wasnt great - clearly using the cheapest tea bags possible. Even the staff were rude and seemed like they didnt want to be there. My girlfriend who isnt a native english speaker took a moment to understand what the lady said and she scoffed and walked off. So bad food, bad facilities and rude staff. Such a shame as it could be a really lovely little place in a great location if these things were improved.

Beautiful walks with stunning scenery with mini fountains gushing from the side of the paths. Lovely lakes and mountains. £10 all day parking and a lovely cafe. Was extremely windy when we visited in late December so be prepared with waterproof and windproof clothing as well as same footwear. ABSOLUTELY NO RECEPTION...... This was the most frustrating thing.

Friendly staff, excellent café facilities with great menu choices and food, free toilets, and a good place to get info on the routes up. Parking machine takes card. Just be sure to get back down from the summit in time before closing!
