Beautiful countryside pub, popular with campers, walkers etc. Well kept ales. Didn't try the food, but it looked good.Dog friendly, and friendly, helpful staff.Parking: Spacious carpark at rear.
It's all in my title really. Piping hot, huge portions of excellent pub grub - just the job if you've been up the hill and just the job if you're going. Excellent local beer too with friendly and efficient staff. Good old Vaynol, under new ownership for about a year now we were told and doing well. (PS, if you were here in the 80s you may recall the blackboard in the back room with 'Dr Death Topping Out on the Black Hole'. Fab little pub, just popped in to get some pub lunch after long walk up snowdon with my daughter, and I must say I wasn't disappointed, the food was out of this world, I had the mix grill, which trust me when I say it was large portion it was big, my daughter gad chicken burger and that was so tasty, complements to the sheff jeep up the good work.
