I ventured out hiking, left in the dust due to my tent poles falling out my bag and stumbled upon the only pub open for miles. They greeted me with open arms, allowed me to charge my phone, and offered a pint& food on the house! I had a game of chess& waited for my lift to arrive. if it wasn’t for them I’d still be there now.
The Goat -Yr Afr was a great little find while travelling with my son through North Wales. Tom and his daughter Courtney showed some true Irish hospitality. Great place for pool and darts also.

My son and I stumbled upon this pub looking to watch football. The owner Tom was so welcoming and friendly. I asked him about the football the next day which was on at lunchtime. He said he didn't open until 4 but he would open especially for us! He kept his word , opened for us and watched the football! We had such a great experience, if you're ever in the area pop in for a drink and have a fantastic evening ?
