Myself and wife have been coming to this area for holidays for the last 5 years.We have seen this pub empty for years but now seeing what the locals have done is nothing but amazing. The pub is a great place to drink and eat. We've been in a few times for the sunday roast and it's been stellar fare every time. What a brilliant place, and what fantastic food! Dw i'n dysgu Cymraeg, a mae'r staff yn amhyneddgar a gyfeillgar. There's always been a tap of Hopus on, a local brewery, and it's great stuff to pair with the seriously tasty dinner. Da iawn a diolch yn fawr!

Cinio Dydd Sul fendigedig. What a fantastic Sunday lunch we had today. The mashed potatoes were amazing. The staff were lovely and the pub was very well run We will be back very soon. Diolch yn fawr iawn.

A vast improvement from my vist in 2015. When I had seabass complete with all its bones. The new management is amazing and I just couldn't eat all my food. Being a giant cheese ,bacon burger. When my sister comes to visit we will book to come again .☺️?????????

What a fab village pub! Staff couldn't have been more welcoming. Spent Christmas in the village, amazing dinner, lovely waitress. Gutso cocktails were awesome ?. Tried a few! Lol ? really friendly place, with a great choice of beer, cider and some locally produced! Also has an excellent shop in the garden with all the essentials. If you're in the area, a visit would be highly recommended ?

I went there with ex work colleagues this evening. We had a festive menu and opted for the 'mini Christmas dinner'. This was a choice of turkey or beef. The plate that came out was fantastic, and definitely wasn't 'mini'! The food was lovely the roaring fire was lovely. A superb local pub ??

We had tried and failed to make a booking here until today! We had heard good reviews about the food and we were eager to try for ourselves....we were not disappointed. The sunday roast was absolutely delicious and perfect in every way. Creamy mash beautiful cooked veg massive yorkshire everything was just so tasty...we had the Lamb , Turkey and the Mushroom Wellington we all enjoyed the food no complaints whatsoever...puddings were delicious also very reasonable prices....we will most definitely be back....Highly recommend Diolch yn Fawr .
