Best roast dinner I've ever had. I had the beef brisket and everything was cooked to perfection. Lovely place and kind staff. Stopped hear to eat whilst looking into our ancestry. Found family in the village on 1871census. Made really welcome and the food was absolutely gorgeous, would definitely recommend a visit. All the people we met while walking through the village were lovely a smile and hello from them all. Only wish we'd have found out more info on our ancestors. Defo 5 star.

We found this gem of a pub on holiday. We were welcomed by friendly staff and showed to our booked table.There were three options of roast and it did not disappoint both the meat and vegetarian options were great and gave us extra gravy.We went for a few deserts which were all great but the toffee apple crumble was stand out.What a wonderful pub which seems great for the local community.
