Never been here before but I will definitely go again. Popped in with my husband and our friend hoping to get a warm bowl of soup. We were served a bowl of the best soup I've had in a long time. It was absolutely delicious and served with a good chunk of warm and crusty bread. The service was fast and friendly and the pub was lovely and warm. I highly recommend this pub.Parking: Parking is just to the side of the pub and the carpark is very big so plenty of spaces.?Kid-friendliness: It looked like there'd been a children's party in one room when we arrived so I'm presuming it's kid friendly. There were also two young children enjoying burgers with their parents ❤️

Had a very nice meal here earlier today. Only noticed the ribs on the specials board when going up to order food. They were very nice, the only downside was they could have done with a steak knife and bigger plate.

Great food, 10 person party all enjoyed the meal when it eventually arrived busy day I guess so 45 minute wait after ordering, food was fresh, tasty and good portions, super pint of beer also ?Will definitely visit again next time I'm in Cardiff ??

Excellent lunchtime food and service. Five of us, all were very happy with the quality and taste of the dishes. We never understand why few places though don't seem to serve much veg.

Haven't been there for a few years we had Sunday roast. 2 brisket beef 2 turkey all 4 absolutely beautiful, yorkies spot on. Our 2 teenagers had desert, waffle and sticky toffee pudding both said was lovely. 10 out of 10 won't be leaving it a few years again!!!
Food was stunning I recommend the Korean chicken burger. I had chocolate fudge cake for dessert it was a massive slice. Lovely place friendly staffI can't wait to go

Never disappointed with this place. Roast dinners are so popular and there's a reason for that - absolutely delicious. Service friendly and efficient, excellent value for money. Would recommend.Parking: Carpark is adjacent to the pub.

We were seated immediately with no fuss and had our drinks quickly thereafter. The food was also beautiful and served quickly.There was an incident where two rowdy males tried to ignite a situation with me and another guest with me. We didn't even need to complain, before we were even able to, the problem was handled and the rowdy guys were asked to drink up and leave. It was the first time anywhere that the staff stepped in without being asked to. It was really comforting. Also got to cuddle a staff members sausage dogs so that was great. 10/10 staff and service.Kid-friendliness: Lovely little play and garden area with a slide and climbing frame. Definitely a kid friendly atmosphere.
