Today was the second time that we had lunch at the Moat House. Both times the staff were polite and helpful. Today, my wife had the gammon. Her preference with meat is for it to well cooked. Also, with her being blind, she needed the gammon to be cut up as this makes it easier for her to manage. No problem. The gammon was cooked to her liking and cut up as requested. I visit The Moat 3 or 4 times a week because the food is always excellent with extremely good service. The quality of the food is great for the price. All the staff are very welcoming. Whenever we have a family night out my daughter always says let's go to the Moat. Would recommend The Moat to anyone.

Great local with no frills and good value food. Try it…. Clean, tidy and well run if you’re looking for a good meal on the basic side but well prepared and in good friendly surroundings this is a fine place - Nothing fancy but still good value.
