Terrible hotel. Spent two nights there in room 15 and the bathroom was infested with ants. One radiator which ws only 1.5 foot square and they only have the heating on for a small bit so the room was freezing. For some reason none of the plug sockets worked in my room. You only get ten TV channels which half are in welsh and one of the channels is called gay rabbit!!! Didn't clean the room while I was at work all day and the food is awful and very expensive. Only stayed there as work booked me in there but I will be sure to tell work never to use it again! And how it's wedding venue I find hilarious!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lovely little place in Caersws,Rob on reception was really friendly and welcoming, especially considering how late at night i arrived after a breakdown in my truck he really went above and beyond for me and lisa the morning staff was also lovely and very welcoming, the breakfast that is included with your stay was amazing the chef (sorry I forgot the lady's name) cooked everything to perfection (full Welsh breakfast) the room was to a clean and tidy standard and noise was minimal, overall I really enjoyed my stay and the owner is very lucky to have these members of staff running their hotelRooms: The is lovely for a short stay, nice and quite location 5 mins away from the lowith a lovely viewFood & drinks: The breakfast that is included with any room booking is perfect, I had the full Welsh breakfast and couldnt fault it

We didn’t stay the night so we cannot rate the rooms. But we had a meal for 43 (people not pounds) and the food and service was amazing. We had the set menu and all 3 courses were sublime. Thank you team Maesmwr for a perfect

Went for a group xmas dinner. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Asked if the meal for one of our group be boxed up as they were unwell and they happily obliged. Food was lovely and plenty to eat. Lovelt atmosphere and great service.

Very comfortable stay for one night only as we were exploring a larger area. Welcome, friendly and efficient. Bedroom adequate and with nice crisp sheets and a comfortable bed. Food and service were excellent and the breakfast outstanding, the best scrambled egg I have had in a long time! Would certainly come back for another stay in the future.
A great place to stay - very friendly and efficient staff who looked after us very well. Superb restaurant. Overall character of the hotel made it a very worthwhile experience. Location of the hotel is spot on for exploring mid Wales.

A beautiful building although we didn’t get to stay in it, we had to go to The Coach House as they were full. Still nice although “cozy “ i.e small. No drinking water in the room. Enjoyed scones and tea on the lawn on arrival. An ok evening meal and breakfast.

The whole group loved the location of this charming hotel, tge faultless choice of food and the perfect location for touring Mid and North Wales. Thank you to all the team. We will be back.

This was our third visit to this beautiful old hotel sitting in it's own grounds. The layout is pleasingly quirky, with wonky doors and floors, and odd shaped stairs. Our room was extremely comfortable, especially the bed and pillows. The staff were all really pleasant and helpful, and dinner and breakfast were extremely good. We'll be back.
