Lovely little place in Caersws,Rob on reception was really friendly and welcoming, especially considering how late at night i arrived after a breakdown in my truck he really went above and beyond for me and lisa the morning staff was also lovely and very welcoming, the breakfast that is included with your stay was amazing the chef (sorry I forgot the lady's name) cooked everything to perfection (full Welsh breakfast) the room was to a clean and tidy standard and noise was minimal, overall I really enjoyed my stay and the owner is very lucky to have these members of staff running their hotelRooms: The is lovely for a short stay, nice and quite location 5 mins away from the lowith a lovely viewFood & drinks: The breakfast that is included with any room booking is perfect, I had the full Welsh breakfast and couldnt fault it

A great little oasis in Wales. I met a friend there and had the vegetarian breakfast. I was really impressed. £6 and included coffee. I'll certainly visit there more often.Furry pets are welcome of course (outside only). There are also indoor seating places available (though dogs cannot come inside).This is exactly what you expect. An honest, good, place to stop, stretch your legs and see a friend. Or just enjoy the beautiful surroundings Wales offers.Really cannot rate this little oasis highly enough

Life is full of regret. Regret is what I have after visiting The Unicorn Bar & Restaurant tonight.Regret, because I've lived in this area for just over 5 years and this is the first time I've been here. I've missed out so much!!What an absolutely delightful Restaurant. Welcomed by amazing staff, with a separate bar and restaurant area.I was honestly surprised with how much variety is on the menu and how good the prices were.One menu item that caught my eye was the double cooked cheesy fries. Hot dang, wow. I mean I've had cheese fries before, but they're often a disappointment. THESE fries though were worth ordering. Even without the cheese they were great. Speaking of cheese, there was a generous amount of very tasty cheese used on these.My wife and I had the Vegetarian and Beef lasagne, which were both exquisite.A wonderful night out, in an absolutely amazing restaurant with great ambience and great staff.Don't live your life in regret - don't take 5 years before you visit here. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Friendly pub, beer very reasonable price, the best pint carling ive ever had, first visit to caersws as I was going football as I'm ground hopper, well done to landlord.

Great little pub. Friendly, helpful bar staff and super friendly, welcoming patrons. We didn't eat here as we were just passing through. Would happily spend an evening here anytime.
