Great place to stay, petrol station over the road if needed, near, the Industrial Estate, great food in the pub, nice and a quiet place. Can't ask for more.

Quite location plenty parking. Doesn't look like the norm type off Premier. But at least your know premier inns have decent bed. Vending machine on site for snacks. Food places outside pub about 2 miles away by car . But 106 quid I've stayed worse places for more money.Rooms: Chilli but extra heaters and massive bathroom and plenty off space and light.Walkability: Nowhere to walk too or from. So save your legsFood & drinks: Restricted if not booked a table to pub in front. Which is annoying when hungry and can't havr hot food

Not what I was expecting from a premier inn. Mattress not as comfy as it should be. Lots of dust growing in the room tbh. The bathroom almost made me sick as it looked like the door hadn’t been opened in days, dirt on the wall. Desk in the room was peeling off. If it wasn’t so late and I hadn’t had a 4 hour drive I would have checked out

Not brilliant. Bar shut at 10 on Friday night and 9:30 on Saturday. Some lights had no bulbs in the room and the heating was an electric radiator plugged into a wall socket. I guess what I am saying is it was very dissapointing. Wouldn't stay at this one again.Breakfast had little choice on yoghurts, "fresh fruit salad" looked dry and unappetising. No muffins or pancakes. I could go on.

Stayed here recently on a business trip. They went above and beyond to accommodate me for an extra night. Friendly staff and I had a great nights sleep.

Rooms are ok, breakfast service disappointing -they seemed to be short staffed.

Forest Haven is a serene spot for picnics and relaxation. The towering trees provide ample shade, and the babbling brook adds to the tranquility. It's an ideal place to escape the city and enjoy nature's beauty.

Very dirty hotel .stayed here a few years ago and it is no where near dirty then as it is now .it’s very run down and tatty , shower doors are black and full of dirt/grime . Looked liked the carpet have not been hoovered , one dirty cup in the room with lipstick on .Cardiff east is totally run down and cleaners need to be quiet rather than laughing in the hallway , please consider people working or resting .I think all these issues need to be addressed with the manager especially as covid is on the rise , it needs a good wake up call .reception staff nice but that’s all I can say , won’t be staying here again.

Probably the lowest quality of any Premier Inn that I have stayed at. The room looked tired with a smashed up bedside cabinet. The bathroom looked OK but closer inspection revealed the shower door to be hanging off and plenty of dirt and deposits around the shower. I was told other rooms were better though. The adjacent beefeater shuts the bar early so the presence of a large TV in the room is a plus.I will definitely check other options before returning.

Avoid this hotel I had to stay here as my usual hotel Cardiff north was fully booked every morning from 7.30 I was woken to a constant banging, the cleaners would use the deadbolt on the door to stop it locking, which I will add didn’t happen at Cardiff north, really not good when you’ve just done a night shift, the cleaners have zero respect for anyone who maybe resting

Basic hotel with the usual amenities but very small, cramped room and bathroom. Smelt very old and musty to the point we had to buy febreeze to spray around. Normally premier inn rooms are comfortable but the bed was anything but this and very creamy. Asked for our room to be cleaned and the sheets weren’t changed just made the bed. Wouldn’t rush back.

This is definitely the best Premier Inn we stay at. The staff at all the Premier Inns we frequent are generally first class, but something sets this place ahead of the game. The staff are simply exceptional Anne and Saskia really make reception a friendly, welcoming experience. They are very professional and helpful but have such a great way of being able to balance the professionalism whilst also making you feel relaxed and comfortable. We were there for the Rugby but actually left Cardiff early to get back to the hotel and Beefeater. There was a charity car wash and raffle and the prizes were brilliant. We managed to win a signed Wales 2023 squad poster and stadium tour tickets. Great Ormond Street Hospital is very dear to my heart and it was a fantastic way of generating some extra money to help. This is a budget hotel but it's so clean and the domestic staff go above and beyond making your stay comfortable. Well done to everyone at Cardiff East. Can't wait to get back after our wedding!!
