So overall it is a really nice hotel. First thing you are greeted with is a warm welcome and a smile. Check in was simply and no queue. Parking is controlled by a screen logging system (easy). I was on 3rd floor at the end of the corridor so I headed of to the lift. The lift was a bit scruffy around the floor but not too distracting. Very delightful stay. Newport itself is a lovely place and, on top of that, one of the best experiences I've ever had. I was here in mid-June for training purposes and stayed for five nights (I wish I would have stayed longer than that). My room was always kept clean, and I slept very well. Breakfast was really good.It felt very welcoming overall. Thanks for that.Highly recommend.However, the quality of the dinner has to improve just a little, but they were lovely too.

4th visit here for business rooms are comfortable and warm also very quiet hotel, I've stayed in a few holiday inns and I prefer this over the others the food is great will say pints are very expensive almost £6 for a pint. On this visit the WiFi has been up and down all evening which has been a pain but all in all I enjoy my stay here
