Visited Ty Madeira as a party of 7 for a birthday celebration on a week night. We found the service to be superb and the menu range excellent. Didn’t find the hanging chicken kebabs particularly flavoursome however and they were a little over-cooked for my liking.Additionally, you do need to book well in advance (months) if there are any music gigs or sporting events taking place in Cardiff on the day you’re due to visit. Genuinely a true 5 star experience. The service was exceptional and the food was even better.A true authentic Portuguese restaurant that are often very difficult to find.Although it's in the heart of Cardiff, it's easy to miss but I'll be adding it back on my list of places to go again. Superb!

Came here with my Girlfriend on my Birthday & had their 2 Course Set Lunch for £15.95 each excluding the cost of drinks & was everything authentically Portuguese. The Staff were very pleasant & efficient in all ways & the food plus Wine etc was very good. Not Cheap but, worth the money.
