So much potential...if the food was any better!Beautiful set up and view, staff very friendly. But then the food arrived - Charging £23 for a what is clearly a frozen seafood basket is daylight robbery and it wasn't any good: Dry, tasteless & unidentifiable fillings. The turkey burger wasn't much better....Cannot recommend unfortunately!!

The Ferry Inn in St. Dogmaels is an absolute gem. They went above and beyond, and were amazing with my family 's various allergies and dietary restrictions and requirements, making eating out for this challenging group a breeze! The service? Friendly, patient, warm and welcoming. The views over the estuary through those wonderful picture windows? Stunning. It's more than just a great setting and tip-top food (although the food is really great - justifying all those awards this place has deservedly won in recent years!) it's about feeling totally looked after.Definitely worth a visit - you'll understand why. Well worth the drive.Vegetarian options: Great set of vegetarian and vegan friendly options, as well as plenty for the carnivores!

Well this was a pleasant surprise, we wanted a quick meal . I’m sorry we didn’t expect too much BUT this was amazing possibly the best Roast dinner out ever. The four of us each had the roast option beef pork chicken and vegetarian . Everything was quality the carrots even the green kale was lovely. We were on holiday and went for coffee liqueur and pudding so came to £35 per head . The staff were attentive and jolly . Dog friendly which suited us . I have no affiliation with The Ferry but was bowled over by this trip an excellent start to our few days away. Thank you

What a place to have a pint, or a meal, but I didn’t have dinner there so I can only speak to the beauty and perfection of sitting on the terrace with a pint and watching the boats and bird go by in silence. The service is friendly and the staff are warm and welcoming. The reverend James flows aplenty. Basically it’s a cracking place for a drink with a view and I suspect a very decent restaurant too.

Visited for our 8th anniversary and loved it.The staff were amazing. So lovely, even gave us a glass of prosecco to celebrate which was super kind of them. The food was so good, a big thank you to the chef and all the team. We will definitely visit again ?

Only marked down due to wine list slightly limited and toilets clean and functional but a little dated. Staff very friendly and helpful and food excellent. Wonderful views over the estuary. Definitely would return.

Nice Sunday lunch with attentive service.Atmosphere was spoilt by unruly and barking dogs.

Very disappointed in our Sunday Lunch. We raved about our previous experience with The Ferry Inn to family. We all came along on Sunday with our family party of 6. We waited 50min for food. We honestly wouldnt have minded the wait if the food was worth it! None of us had a good meal; Pork was dry and tough Beef had been presliced and left on hot plate where it dried out Carrots and cabbage tasted like reheated Potatoes anaemic The servers were happy, jolly and polite. However, getting their attention for anything was near on impossible! A male server with long hair also tried to take away plates before 2 of our party had finished! We are not ones to complain, especially with a restaurant full of diners. Almost £20 pp for a roast dinner that was really not worth it!

Staff very welcoming and with the area's overlooking the estuary the Inn isa lot larger than you think. The only thing was the pork for Sunday roast was overcooked. But in general it was a very pleasant experience.

Unexpected fantastic find on our travels along the west coast of Wales.Good food at a reasonable price, friendly engaging staff and a lovely setting on the riverbank. Will definitely be going back when we're anywhere near there again.

Delicious food, superb service and stunning views overlooking the river. Our kids declared it was the best place they've ever eaten! A must visit when in the area.
