A little gem!It's a locals pub, but there really friendly. Staff were all good. Food was really good. Some microwaved but ingredients were very good. We used as a stop off in our motorhome. Well worth a visit. We were early arriving so smelt the wood burner (a good smokey smell) coming allive during the night. Within hours it was super hot in the pub.I would recommend to anyone, and more than happy to return.Meeting Terry next door is a must if you like Trucks/cranes/Hydraulics. We left one over the bar for him. Hopefully he'll get it!

We had a lovely welcome from the team at the Railway. A nicely decorated pub with quirky decor with plenty of space. We had a delicious 3 course sunday lunch which was reasonably priced, the food was really tasty and so nicely presented. Would highly recommend the Railway for a hearty meal and a warm welcome, we will definitely be back.

Staying in the area for a couple of days, so decided to head to the pub for an evening meal. The outside doesn’t really have much curb appeal (sorry!) but the inside is really quirky and well done, toilets are lovely and clean. Staff really friendly and so helpful in accommodating dietary allergies. Food was well cooked, well presented and plentiful. Had a lovely meal and will be returning tomorrow night for another evening meal. Thanks guys x

My husband and I had an evening meal at the Railway yesterday and it was excellent and very nicely presented. My husband had the pork and I had the balsamic chicken which were on the Specials Board and would really recommend these meals. Service was also excellent.

I brought my daughter here for food and was shocked to discover that the F word and C word is normal, acceptable language at this establishment. Horrible experience. Never going back.
