Promenade, Colwyn BayHaving read the reviews and following Bryn on tv etc we Booked a table for lunch after staying over for a night locally before travelling home to Manchester after a few previous days holiday at Portmerion.\nAbsolutely worth the visit, fabulous Crab Rarebit and S& P Squid starters followed by wonderful regular Fish Finger mains.\nTopped off with a Nojito and Gower Zero Ale.\nCannot praise the staff service and food enough and cannot add more( apart from a couple of other photos) than what has already been said in other reviews plus other great photos.\nA special thanks to Josh who looked after us even though we didn’t stay too long as we wanted to try and beat the forecasted stormy bad weather and tea time traffic jams around Manchester which we just ran into when nearly home.\nHope to revisit again when we return to lovely Wales.\nBarbara and Hugh\nWilliams

West Promenade, Colwyn BayPlease pre book before you go for dinner. quite busy especially on a sunday. good place to sit - could see into the kitchen.. l like those kind of tables.. but there where tables upstairs and some outside if you wanted just a snack.. or there where bar tables too. \nlunch was good but quite a wait but then the waiting staff where very nice and explained that our meals would be out next and chef was just plateting up. \nsome of our meal was a little too much so we asked for boxes to take things home.. boxes takeout.. supplied. we will be going back but maybe later in the year or possible next year... soon. value was very good for three meals... l think l might have a starter as a main next time and a bread selection or chips.

My partner and me visited china garden last night to place an order, the gentleman who took our order was very friendly and even cracked a joke with us right as we were leaving which gave us a good laugh. I had the spicy beef with EFR and my wife had king prawn sweet & sour. Her prawns were (apparently) amazing (I don't do seafood) and my beef dish was very tasty. I also ordered two different portions of chicken wings which were crispy and tasty. Definitely ordering again when we go back later this year. No photos unfortunately - I'm a human dustbin when food arrives at the door.

When I picked it up, I saw one of the chefs cooking the chicken in a tandoori oven and it looked and smelt lovely. The naans are amazing full of flavour and taste amazing. 144 Conway Rd, Colwyn BayThe food from here is always excellent, the doner meat is juicy and flavoursome and the chicken doner meat is succulent and really herby unlike other shops, it's very different. Instead of dried up pitta, you get large, chewy, chargrilled flatbreads and everything is always delivered hot. The pizzas are pretty damn good too!

I ordered the homemade fishcake, chips & peas The fishcake tasted superb, nice & creamy texture to it. The chips were well done & not too greasy.
I also tried the spam & cheese fritter which was a first on me, and gets a thumbs up, very tasty.
The service was quick & very welcoming, the place isn't too noisy either.

44 Gadlas Rd, Llysfaen, Colwyn BayOrdered a Salt and pepper box today, for 18.90 I think it’s the best value for money you’ll get from a Chinese in the surrounding area. The box itself is filled with chips, chicken wings, balls, shredded and pieces along with some ribs, all dowsed with a strong and flavourful salt and pepper seasoning. Normally a set meal would fill us up with none to spare, but you could feed 3-4 people with this marvelous box. This is a MUST for flavour and spice lovers

I am a professional singer and Dj from the Midlands. \n\nFrom the first point of contact with the manager Dylan, I feel he has shown a very professional and organised attitude towards me. \nIt is clear that Dylan has put considerable time and effort into his management role at the station, the station boasts a great atmosphere with all ages of people enjoying themselves respectfully. \nI can honestly say they literally couldn’t do enough to help me and support me throughout the evening of entertainment. Dylan provided me with genuine kindness and has made me feel extremely welcome. \nI was so pleased to be introduced to the regulars in which are some of the best people I’ve ever performed to. I recieved so many wonderful comments and compliments. It is very clear to see how well respected Dylan is at the station. \nHe is a very well loved part of the team and should be congratulated on the service and care he provides.\n \nI have been professionally performing for 11 years and have attended many different venues meeting all kinds of people. The Station will certainly stand out to me because of its warm and welcoming atmosphere, it was an absolute pleasure to perform for them.\nI would like to give credit to Dylan for his management skills and capability of providing such a lovely atmosphere for me whilst working at his venue.\nI am very pleased to say I have been given multiple dates to return to perform again and I really cannot wait to be back with Dylan and the team! I also ordered an Hawaiian burger which for the price was excellent. Highly recommend!!!

Glan Conwy Corner, Colwyn BayWe came for breakfast Monday morning with the children, would definitely suggest booking a table as it was very busy. The staff was so good with coping with the amount of people that was coming in, the buffets was constantly being stocked and the waiters was working so damn hard to keep on top of the clearing up. The drinks served were tasty and went down well, I guess my only complaint would be the staff dragging tables and chairs around us to accommodate other patrons. It would not have been so bad if they had actually lifted the furniture a little, instead everything was loud screeches; certainly not conducive to a quiet drink we had hoped for.

The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. The service was amazing throughout, with great recommendations from the menu that turned out to be spot on. Every dish was full of flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection – truly some of the best Indian food we’ve had locally. I never thought about the green house effect of glass as it seems to amplify the heat so we moved inside where it was lovely and cool. We had a pot of tea and Blueberry muffins and it was a nice experience as it was quite peaceful. Service was very good with no wait. Prices were reasonable. Well worth a visit if you're going past.

Flavours were light, everything well cooked and well packed. Ken tweaked the food to our preferences as requested and was overall a very stand-up guy. The food quantity was good and was well packed. Definitely the best compared to the Chinese takeaways nearby.

Throughout the planning stages, Dave was extremely communicative and enthusiastic.
The tour was informative and the hen loved it, a mix of her passion for ale and science!!
Dave had also arranged for a band to play in the taproom after the tour and a burger van to come to site for our hungry hens!!

292 Conway Rd, Mochdre, Colwyn BayWe ordered two meals from here late last Friday night. We were told it would take 20 minutes to make when we dialled through. In the end it took closer to 40 minutes which was really frustrating. Sadly I had a bit of a go at some of the staff which in hindsight I perhaps shouldn't have done. When I went to collect the food they kindly offered it to me for free which I thought was a really nice gesture. I couldn't accept it for free as I felt bad so we agreed to meet halfway. The food was lovely as well, really well cooked and not overly gloppy like you get from some Chinese takeaways.

Such a small price for such amazing food! The food was tasteful and packed full with delicious meat and fresh vegetables. The quality was outstanding and is the best Chinese food that I have had in at least 10 years! What really blew me away was the lovely staff inside of the restaurant. The restaurant waiting room had beautiful decoration and was extremely well kept. All surfaces were clean and clearly cared for and looked after. This is obviously a business that is proud of what they are and how they serve their food, and it absolutely shows in the way they provide their hospitality. The authentic atmosphere of the restaurant was amazing, and it was really nice to see who I assume is a family working together to keep their company thriving! If I could have given more than five stars, I absolutely would've!

Dave had also arranged for a band to play in the taproom after the tour and a burger van to come to site for our hungry hens!!

Near the promenade with a sea view..\nMon 20th Oct 25...8am had bacon stacked pancakes which was nice & latte... I give this visit a 4*...\nTues 21st Oct 25..12.15pm..\nHad Ham & cheese toastie in brown... Described on menu as coming with side salad & handful of crisps... The bread was basic brown bread... Would have preferred a granary/seeded bread & handful of crisps was 4 crisps... Must have had minute hands... This accompanied by a pot of tea... Which was nice however the tea pot(metal) & hot water pot were in need of a propert wash... Score this visit 3.5*...\nStaff on both occasions were polite and helpful...\nOverall score is 4*...\nLook forward to trying Coast cafe again...

Promenade, Colwyn BayHaving read the reviews and following Bryn on tv etc we Booked a table for lunch after staying over for a night locally before travelling home to Manchester after a few previous days holiday at Portmerion.\nAbsolutely worth the visit, fabulous Crab Rarebit and S& P Squid starters followed by wonderful regular Fish Finger mains.\nTopped off with a Nojito and Gower Zero Ale.\nCannot praise the staff service and food enough and cannot add more( apart from a couple of other photos) than what has already been said in other reviews plus other great photos.\nA special thanks to Josh who looked after us even though we didn’t stay too long as we wanted to try and beat the forecasted stormy bad weather and tea time traffic jams around Manchester which we just ran into when nearly home.\nHope to revisit again when we return to lovely Wales.\nBarbara and Hugh\nWilliams

Rhos Promenade, Rhos on Sea, Colwyn BayThe staff were very welcoming from the moment we walked into the pub. Although they were busy nothing was too much trouble for the customers I dinned with in their dining room. Traditional Sunday lunch well cooked and presented with lots of meat ( senior plate only slightly smaller ). Entertainment in the garden. Would visit again

West Promenade, Colwyn BayPlease pre book before you go for dinner. quite busy especially on a sunday. good place to sit - could see into the kitchen.. l like those kind of tables.. but there where tables upstairs and some outside if you wanted just a snack.. or there where bar tables too. \nlunch was good but quite a wait but then the waiting staff where very nice and explained that our meals would be out next and chef was just plateting up. \nsome of our meal was a little too much so we asked for boxes to take things home.. boxes takeout.. supplied. we will be going back but maybe later in the year or possible next year... soon. value was very good for three meals... l think l might have a starter as a main next time and a bread selection or chips.

43 Penrhyn Ave, Rhôs-on-Sea, Rhos on Sea, Colwyn BayMy favourite sandwich shop!!! We visit here regularly for their salad boxes & hot wraps. Everything is always so fresh and all of the girls behind the counter are super friendly.
Not forgetting their brownies & cookies!!! We can never resist and have to treat ourselves to a couple everytime.

The Bay Hop
17 Penrhyn Road, Colwyn BayA great little tap room in Colwyn Bay run by the very helpful Chris. He even let our well behaved collie Nell in for a sit down after touring around the local area. A great selection of craft beers on offer and looks like he puts on a few social and film nights as well. Definitely worth a visit to support your local independent shop.

10 Penrhyn Rd, Colwyn BayChina garden by far is the best, the food Is always of an high standard and the staff and the atmosphere is amazing. My partner and me visited china garden last night to place an order, the gentleman who took our order was very friendly and even cracked a joke with us right as we were leaving which gave us a good laugh. We also got a free gift from china garden which we thoroughly enjoyed! Thank you China Garden!!! ?
