Yummy! The food is always excellent, well cooked, full of ingredients and was keenly eaten. On this last occasion, it was quiet but the staff created a fantastic and fun atmosphere. I would recommend to anyone who likes pancakes, both savoury and sweet. Make sure you have enough room for one of each, or you may be in trouble from one of the staff like I was (you know who you are!!) Love it - see you soon.

What a fantastic day visiting the Dutch Pancake House. We were recommended by a lady at the cafe at Conwy Castle! Must admit, was not disappointed. Service was fantastic. Lady who served us spoke away, had such an impressive manner, and was so lovely. Will definitely visit when I'm next in Wales!

Absolutely loved this place as we took our neighbours for a treat. We were looked after from start to finish by the lovely staff who made our afternoon the best .Dietary restrictions: I was catered for on both the gluten and dairy free options. It was heaven. A big thank you to the lady who served us.

Wow, amazing all round. All the staff were friendly. The chef came and spoke to us personally as we had a child with food allergies and made sure he knew exactly our needs. The food was really top quality. Will definitely revisit

Avoid this place like the plague.Nothing to see Nothing to do,Nothing to eat unless you've booked in advance. The otters were non existent. A sign on the capybara enclosure said it was closed for the time being, and when we went to the pancake house at 1pm we were told there were no available places until 2.30 pm unless we'd booked,Despite there were about ten empty tables. Very Very disappointed.

The venue and staff were nice but none of us thought much of the pancakes. I had the bacon and maple , and my daughter's had the banana chocolate and cinnamon and lemon. Now we are a family of pancake lovers so our expectations may be higher than some. The coffee was also not great at all. It's a real shame, such a great place and well you only do one thing, so do it well. Just my opinion. If you are sitting outside, be careful of the wasps. My wife had the soup, which was lovely .

Reaallly nice place. Food was very authentic, innovative and delicious. Really one of the few spots where you know the chef is a real one and not mimicing what others are doing. If you're in Conway, make this a stop. You won't regret.Lemon dream, and Indian pancake are a must. And they serve Halal chicken ?.

Lovely savoury pancakes after a nice quiet wander. Mrs Otter was out and about, fascinating to watch.Ample parking and flat paths to follow.
Ever since we arrived in Rowen, we were looking forward to our visit to the Dutch Pancake house. However, all 4 of us were disappointed. Service was good. Pancakes were expensive for what they were. We all found the pancakes dry and rubbery despite the large choice of toppings. Coffee wasn't good either. However, must be to other people's taste as the place was very busy.

It’s such a beautiful place to visit… I loved seeing all the wildlife and going on the nature trail. In particular I loved seeing the otters. The pancake house is a great spot for lunch and is fantastic if you have a sweet tooth…..The aquatics centre has a great range of fish, turtles and pond equipment. The staff are really friendly and have lots of knowledge in the aquatics field excellent customer service would defiantly recommend.

Been a few times as the kids love a pancake and it disappoints every time. If there is a perfect example of poor service and bad staff attitudes the Dutch Pancake House ticks them all.The most recent example was 27th May 2023, 7 free and unbooked tables decided to take the orders from 8 from our group of 11, when the others joined they told them to come back in 4 hours, despite there being spare seats on their tables.Don’t waste your time travelling there, by the end of your meal the staff will have convinced you they’re doing you a favour even taking your order.Kid-friendliness: Entirely not kid friendlyDietary restrictions: Could not be bothered to serve gluten or dairy free options.

Was here couple of weeks ago, food was incredible, great service. I had really nice talk with chief before leaving. If you want to eat there In more busy days have to book a table before ?

We used to come here regularly some twenty years ago. On a recent visit, we were happy to see it hasn't changed much. Both sweet and savoury pancakes are prepared with care, the service was friendly and the coffee was decent. The Dutch apple cake was a triumph. Lovely atmosphere with an unpretentious air. The setting within the Water Gardens is quite charming; a great place to walk your pancakes off afterwards! 4 stars because the toilets could do with a refit. Ample parking.
