“Quaint Welsh Country Pub full of nostalgia in an age old style, I hope it never changes. Excellent food but a limited menu that is served to traditional recipes that are appreciated by the local community. Well worth a visit plenty of parking but along narrow lanes!”
“Lovely traditional pub with a loveley welcome. Very nice pint of Butty Bach. Thanks Orla for the recommendation!”

“Always a welcome from the excellent Landlord who seems to have been here forever!
He's a real nice man and a credit to the industry. Long may he be here!”

“I was camping with my kids for a few days & my kids love pool. This is the only pub in Crickhowell with a pool table. Anyway we made friends with the landlord who was super cool & really nice with the kids. My kids also made friends with some locals playing pool. Everyone was really friendly & lovely. We’ll be back!”

“Fantastic evening meal - proper pub food - plentiful and very tasty. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.”
“A good place to visit if meeting with friends, when using the car park, sign into the iPad provided at the bar with your car number plate to avoid a fine.Noteworthy details: Beer garden overlooking the Mon and Brec Canal.”

“Lovely food and served promptly considering we were a large party. The place was very busy so things at times seemed frantic. Some of the lights could do with a dust lol”

“Really nice friendly var lady ... pub is really quirky and old fashioned which was kinda lovely. Food came out hot and pretty quick good size too. More veg would be nice but no complaints from me. Would definitely go back to try the Jamaican menu”
