We visited the pub yesterday with our 2 dogs and we couldn't have been happier with the service. Lovely sisters running the place with fantastic drink options and the sunday dinner was AMAZING!! Very kind to our doggos and a lovely cosy pub. Also beautifully decorated for Christmas. Will be back soon. Thank you for the great service :)FYI: didn't stay in the rooms but couldn't untick the rating for that.

Lovely little pub! Dog and child friendly, toys and books available to keep them occupied. The roast was amazing!! Very reasonably priced and also only a 5 minute walk to the defynnog yew which was magical to see. We will be back! ☺️

Went in for a drink and decided to have a meal, wasn’t met with a great response, after reading the reviews about the land lady started to think I had the wrong place. Had a face like a smacked @@@@, asked if we could see the menu and was told they had a meeting and were too busy, then a local walked in and ordered food. So I’d say probably good if you’re a local if not I wouldn’t bother

Top pub & B&B. It's located on the main road but we slept very well. Great ales, food and nice rooms. ?Rooms: Proportionate, cosy with a good shower.

Such a lovely place, staff were so nice. We stopped here to use the toilets during our hikes and they were so clean. Such a nice place with such nice people. 100% recommend

We hadden hier drie overnachtingen geboekt. En het was absoluut fantastisch. Het is basic, maar alles wat je nodig hebt is er en de sfeer maakt het verblijf. De bar voelt als een huiskamer waar je meer dan welkom bent. Het ontbijt is met liefde gemaakt en zo is ook het eten in de pub. En niet onbelangrijk de bedden slapen fantastisch.

Food wasn't the best but the Landlady was absolutely amazing! She is what made our visit perfect ? such a character! Definitely recommend visiting at least for a drink and chat with her!Noteworthy details: Awesome Landlady!

Our group of 7 went for dinner there. The staff where very friendly and funny and provided a great service. The food was delicious and we sampled some of the new cocktails as well which where equally delicious. All of the group had the best time. Highly recommend.

Not the best place I’ve stopped at. Got charged for a burnt, inedible pizza, and when I complained, she was a bit rude and didn’t seem to care. Not the best way to resolve the situation ?
