Ideally situated on the north side of the Brecon Beacons, easy to find as its next to A40, owners were friendly and helpful, excellent breakfast and evening meal, good sized room with a comfortable bed.
Amazing Sunday roast - had the nut roast, although it seemed not to actually have any nuts in it, but only pumpkin seeds, cranberries, rice and mushrooms, it was delicious! A lot of trimmings, different kinds of vegetables, a nice vegetarian gravy too! Spuds nicely crispy, Yorkshire pudding also very good. This inn has a charming bar and restaurant attached that serves high quality food that is plated in a very appealing style. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the siracha chicken. Both were excellent. Service was lovely. Highly recommended. Rooms are comfy.Food & drinks: Food served is high quality and delicious.
