Called in after walking the dogs on the beach. We sat outside on the picnic tables. Great friendly service, had a Strongbow, coffee, chips and a beautiful home made Bakewell tart. Perfectly situated for the beach and train station. There’s also a free car park opposite. There were also people having Sunday lunches which looked and smelt terrific. We’ll definitely be back.
Just an unexpected visit to Ferryside and popped in for cod and chips. We had a warm friendly welcome, food was beautifully cooked and presented and stayed hot until the end, even the mushy peas! We were going to have just ice cream for dessert but noticed the selection of proper home made puds, apple, blackcurrant or blackberry tart and raspberry and apple crumble - don't mind if I do! Stayed in Ferryside and after a very wet walk called here for sunday lunch. It was quite busy, and hadn't booked, so we were unsure whether we'd get a seat. Luckily, it wasn't a problem. We both had beef dinner, I opted for the smaller size, which was plenty big enough. The food arrived quickly and was delicious, would definitely recommend and visit again.
